Solution Architect (Software Integration)

About the role
The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in helping the business to achieve its strategic objectives. You will be responsible for the implementation of the strategic modernisation agenda and you will have responsibility for developing the technical road map along with the technical frameworks.

This is, very much, a client facing role and you will be expected to interpret client business requirements and translate into the creation of holistic solutions.

The Solutions Architect will utilise a combination of in-house capabilities in conjunction with the capabilities of 3rd party fintech to drive solutions which meet and exceed the client expectations and are fit for purpose in a digital age.

About you
As Solution Architect you will have experience of digital transformation of Legacy systems together with comprehensive knowledge of continuous integration, Automation and Micro services & container-based systems.

You will also have a background in implementing Cloud and API best practices together with experience in integrating Open Source solutions. Knowledge of Security by Design is also required.

TOGAF accreditation (or equivalent) would be advantageous as would Financial Services Sector background and/or knowledge of Agile Methodologies and tools.

Experience of Cloud Deployment (AWS, Azure) would also be advantageous alongside knowledge of SQL Scripting and Programming.

My client is a leading Software and Business Solutions organisation with over 1000 staff across their offices in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. They are a dynamic, growing business with a vision to be the leading provider of software and third party servicing to the financial services and insurance client.

In return you will receive a salary of between £55,000 and £60,000 per annum, profit related bonus scheme and a generous flexible benefits package.
