The Media team at Unicef UK is part of the broader Communications Department, comprising of Brand, Strategic Communications, Creative Content and Digital Marketing, Ambassador Relations and Media Relations.
We are recruiting for a Media and Communications Manager (Partnerships) to help us to develop Unicef UK’s strategic thinking and delivery for partnerships communications work. ‘Partnerships’ include private sector partnerships, philanthropy, foundations and child rights and business work.
You will manage relationships with senior communications contacts in our corporate partners (and/or their agency partners) and devise ambitious media and communication strategies to promote Unicef UK and our partnerships; developing and implementing our communication strategy and working with others in the media and broader communications team to deliver communications output around these key areas. You will also have internal leadership of a multi-functional team to deliver holistic marketing and communications plans (paid, owned and earned).
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- strong collaboration skills
- proven experience of working in a fast-paced media team, ideally with experience of corporate communications work
- proven experience of developing, implementing and evaluating high profile, innovative and ambitious multi-media strategies and securing effective coverage for partners
- proven experience of managing corporate partners or working within a PR agency to manage clients
