This role is working for an umbrella company that is responsible for Document management, workflow automation, online data protection, GDPR compliance and eSignatures.
Role and Responsibilities:
As Marketing Director you’ll be very much looking after the company’s image, brand and its standing within the market place. You’ll be making sure that the company is communicating the needs of its clients (and potential clients), so you’ll be getting into the mind set of our customers and thinking about their needs. You will be spotting trends, but also constantly re-appraising all the marketing tools within the company to make sure they’re giving us an advantage over our competitors.
Due to the nature of the business going through a high growth strategy and scaling into new international territories, this will be a fluid role that calls for strong creativity, insight and exceptional business sense. You will be a clear thinker and good communicator as this role will require networking and collaboration across all our strategic partnerships, plus our own Business development Sales and Account Management teams.
The role of Marketing Director includes the following responsibilities:
Oversea the marketing budget
Develop the strategy for the customer communications journey
Hold regular meetings with Head of the Company to review lead generation pipeline, resolve communication challenges and present possible solutions.
Oversee and grow the marketing department, mentor Marketing Manager, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by securing new accounts
Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with clients, management, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services nationally and internationally
Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
Utilise insights from product/analytics teams to refine plans and clearly measure success
Manage, create and improve digital marketing campaigns in line with strategy (including social media) measuring results
Look for ways to drive new automation of CRM, Marketing & Comms tools
Oversee events programme
Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis
Build marketing strategy around events – including email, video, collateral etc.
Support sales team by developing compelling pitch materials Key Requirements (Qualifications and Skills):
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Degree educated in marketing, advertising, or communications
Strong B2B Marketing experience – within a large multinational company, that ideally has been high growth
Have previously mentored & managed a small team
Track record of delivering strong results and being data driven in approach
Ability to navigate complex internal environment under high growth conditions
Acts with a sense of urgency and able to clearly link actions with commercial goals
Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Proficiency with HTML, CRM, content management systems, and design software
Established portfolio of media and PR contact
Location: Sawston, Cambridgehire
Hours: 37.5 hours a week Monday – Friday
