This position will include around 50% travel and will be primarily home based.
The Marketing Director will be responsible for
Establishing and controlling the EMEI annual expenses budget.
Creating all marketing collateral to be used in the region.
Training new staff and distributors on all marketing related
Developing new surgeon training material.
Planning and delivering all international congress & exhibitions that fall within the region
In addition, the Marketing Director will be required to support GMs with national congress. Attendance at international congress will be essential, and national congresses will be required from time to time.
You will be required to work closely with the VP and General Managers to propose and assess new market opportunities.
You are to seek endorsement of iStent technologies from both glaucoma and cataract KOLs.
There will be a requirement to support Market Access with creation of materials to support reimbursement and market access activities.
You will be required to assist and support the planning and delivery of Advisory Board meetings.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Concentration in Business or Marketing preferred.
Work Experience :
5 plus years of sales and marketing experience (either surgical or pharmaceutical).
Ophthalmology medical devices ideal
·International Marketing planning experience
·International budget creation experience
·Market development experience to develop new business opportunities
·Market access, Government relations, reimbursement experience
·Ability to build relationships and interact with all levels, particularly KOLs
·Ability to work alone, from home, being self-motivated
