Mayhew is a leading animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats and the people in our communities – at our Home in London and internationally.

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic, creative and ambitious team. You’ll need a flair for writing engaging copy and an eye for design, be an organised individual with strong administration skills and have a real passion for animal welfare! This is a busy, varied and rewarding role with scope to create, input and run with your ideas.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Support on the planning, creation and delivery of a range of marketing projects and campaigns. Focused on supporting Mayhew’s print marketing and publications schedule, the role will also support colleagues across the team including digital, design, social media, press and celebrity work.
Support on the creation of Mayhew’s quarterly magazine Tails, including copywriting, proofing and photo research and liaising with suppliers.
Support on the creation and production of Mayhew printed materials such as leaflets and brochures, as well as ad hoc marketing collateral. Includes liaising with designers and managing print requests.
Writing and editing copy for all departments as required, for website, press releases and more.
Use design and photography skills to assist with the creation of marketing assets for print and digital media.
Help ensure budgets are adhered to by issuing purchase orders and monitoring invoices for print and advertising spend.
Support the monthly reporting process, by collating results and highlights and translating into easy to understand reports.
