A mainly account management focused sales role, representing a high end brand in the home furnishings industry
The market leader within flooring distribution, with revenues of over £600m in a £3bn European market. In a recent survey, over 90% of staff said they are proud of the business and would go the ‘extra mile’ for them!
A vacancy has opened up in the midlands, representing one of their higher-end woolen carpet brands. With a portfolio of around 16 products, you will be:
Managing a territory across East Midlands, West Midlands and Wales, with around 200 customers in high end home furnishings and interior design
Meeting your customers every 6-8 weeks, collaborating with them on visual merchandising, promoting new lines and working with them to increase product sales
Looking to develop some new business customers across your region. It is worth noting that only 4% of your sales target will come form new business so this is much more of an account management role
Taking over a territory that is already worth £500K in turnover where you will be looking to protect and then increase sales
Learning from an initial 4 week training period where you will spend time in head office learning about products and customers, and shadowing existing sales representatives. There will be regular support on an ongoing basis
The salary is £25-28K depending on experience, with additional bonuses of a realistic £6k in year one and a company vehicle.
