The Company
This is an established food delivery business which has a start-up atmosphere. They pack and deliver global food products to your door and create meal kits for people to experiment with at home.
They are looking for a creative graduate with excellent writing skills to help with the editorial process for their meal kits – could you be who they are looking for?
Graduate Editorial Executive – London – January 2022 – £23-25K
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate who loves all things writing, editing, and food!
So what will you be doing in this role?

Creating content for recipe cards that go into the meal kits; this could be customer feedback (from people who have already tried to recipes), the ingredients lists, and the how-to for the recipe
Working with the design team to put together recipe templates, with photography and illustration
Proofreading and editing content before the recipe card goes into circulation
Working to weekly deadlines ahead of printing
The recipes you work on could be repeat recipes that have been successful, or new recipes, or seasonal recipes

Why this company?

Fun for foodies: They are looking for people who are passionate about their products as much as they are, and they even have an in-house chef – you get to try all the new recipes first!
Clients: They work with some of the biggest names in their markets, and you could be working on recipes in collaboration with some of these businesses
Work environment: An established business that has a start-up atmosphere; there is no hierarchy within the business, most people there started as graduates, and you’ll be working in a team of 16
Progression: Just because you start out in editorial doesn’t mean you can progress into other areas of the business! There are opportunities in marketing, operations, project management, NPD, and more eventually
Flexible-working: You can work to your own schedule in or out of the office

Requirements

A 2:2 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant degree subject
Evidence of good writing skills – this can be from your degree, work experience, or extracurriculars

APPLY NOW: Please submit your CV by 10th January 2022 to be considered for this position. I will be in touch with suitable candidates from then.
