As Group Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing the group’s overarching social media strategy for social channels including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn (and others as relevant); for ensuring that The Doyle Collection’s organic social content and campaigns align with brand values, business priorities and platform best practice.
Within this role you will;
Develop a group social media strategy, KPI’s and guidelines for The Doyle Collection and its sub-brands
Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics and that are also on brand.
Lead and inspire marketing teams in the following areas;
development of relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers
Creation, curation and management of inspiring, thumb-stopping published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast).
monitoring, listening and responding to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
conducting online advocacy and opening streams for cross-promotion
developing and expanding community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
Work closely and collaboratively with the group’s marketing and online teams to create and execute brand awareness and tactical campaigns and see them through channel execution
Provide authoritative cross-department social media best-practice guidance at group and hotel levels (e.g. HR, L&D) and Guest Relations personnel with access to guest review platforms
Analyse all campaigns and translate quantitative. anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations for future social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns
Manage social hindsight reporting to stakeholders; articulate insights, trends, key learnings
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. Implement ongoing learnings to remain highly effective
Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
You could be the perfect fit if you have:
3+ years of Social Media Marketing experience (Manager level). Experience in consumer luxury lifestyle, retail or beauty is a plus
Degree in Marketing or relevant field
A voracious appetite and passion for Social Media
Proficiency in content marketing theory and application
Proficiency in all aspects of paid social media advertising
Experience working brand or agency side in a highly cross-functional or matrixed organisation with a high degree of collaboration in a process-driven environment
Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media
Strong commercial acumen
A creative disposition; ability to partner with creative teams and to understand their lingo
The ability to move from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side ability to demonstrate why ideas/strategies are analytically sound
The confidence to lead and guide marketing teams and other key employees (i.e. content development, creation and editing of content, online reputation management)
An excitement for learning, openness to new experiences and ability to quickly adapt to the ever-changing Social Media landscape and its technologies
