This exciting opportunity has just become available and would be well-suited to a talented Graphic Designer looking to take the next step in their career.
The primary focus of the role is design for print, but it is important that you have a good working knowledge of various digital platforms. You will be working closely with both the production and marketing teams with key responsibilities ranging from copy-chasing, to the final approval of advertising campaigns.
You will be involved in the design support in the production of national event and exhibition material which will include AV graphics, floorplans, e-shots, banner-stands, and the organisation and updating of more than 40 annual publications.
Role and Responsibilities:
Working on multi-disciplinary projects
Working alongside the sales team, editorial and marketing departments
Communicating with various clients across the United Kingdom
Work effectively from detailed flat-plans, adhering to company procedures at all times
Working to tight deadlines and follow busy schedules
Follow strict corporate brand guidelines
Create PDF proofs for internal and external proofing
Create pre-press artwork and liaise with multiple printers
Originate and update online e-booksKey Requirements Skills and Attributes:
Minimum of 3 years’ creative industry experience
A sound knowledge of all Adobe CC software (indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
Conscientious design skills and a strong portfolio
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
Attention to detail and experience working to tight deadlines
Ability to multi-task under pressure
Articulate a logical thought process in all work
Demonstrate a hunger to learn and improve
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
Hours: Full time- Monday to Friday
Salary: £20,000 to £23,000
