After their surprise home defeat on Saturday, Exeter City will look to bounce back when they host Colchester United this evening.

The 2-1 loss to Oldham was City’s first loss in 14 and only their second at home in their last 27, and saw them drop to sixth in the League Two table.

The Grecians sit one place and one point above this evening’s opponents, who travel to St James Park unbeaten in five, but without an away win in ten games, dating back to last season, and including the 3-1 play-off semi-final loss.

Ahead of the 7pm kick-off, manager Matt Taylor said: “They have some good players left over from last season, certainly their front four, so we know what to expect. We have played each other a few times over the recent months or seasons, but it’s a game where we want to get back on track.”

The game will be played behind closed doors, but with the spectators set to be allowed to return to grounds from December 2, fans are likely to be able to return to St James Park when the Grecians next step out.
