About the role
The Digital & Content Marketing Executive will work closely with Marketing Managers and Executives across the team to produce and curate a wide variety of campaign materials. Although reporting to the Membership Marketing Manager, the postholder will be fundamental to supporting marketing strategies across membership, events, training and knowledge, as well as the marketing needs of CIBSE’s many global membership networks.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Enhance the effectiveness of all CIBSE marketing campaigns through the production and curation of:
Image and video assets for email, social media and the website.
Ad-hoc artwork for print and digital marketing materials.
Write engaging copy for web and social media content.
Manage the scheduling and approval of social media posts through Buffer
Execute optimised digital advertising through a variety of platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Measure performance and provide campaign insights using analytic tools.
Provide creative ideas and suggestions for content development.
Essential Skills and Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing or content role
Excellent writing skills with a good eye for detail and accuracy
Highly organised and able to meet strict deadlines
Advanced design skills using image and video editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud)
Experience managing social media platforms and paid / organic campaigns
Experienced in using CMS / web management
Results focused with an ability to analyse data and report on results
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work as part of a cross-functional team
Desirable Skills and Experience
A degree level or a professional marketing (CIM) qualification
Good working knowledge of CRM databases (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft 365
Experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Social Media Analytics.
