Meningitis Now is looking for a talented filmmaker to become our new Digital Content Editor
Joining a talented and experienced communications team, you will be responsible for creating video and animated content to be used cross-platform to generate awareness of meningitis, tell the stories of those affected by the disease, and to promote the support that Meningitis Now can offer. You will be a trained and experienced filmmaker with knowledge of storytelling on different social media channels, and the differences between them in tone, voice and technicality.
Our vision is simple – a future where no-one in the UK loses their lives to meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to rebuild their lives.
Through effective use of our social media and digital channels you will help raise vital awareness of meningitis, develop brand awareness and support our fundraising efforts, whilst generating inbound traffic and increasing the reach of the charity online.
Founders of the meningitis movement over 30 years ago, Meningitis Now has made a real difference in the fight against meningitis in the UK, but there is so much more to do.
To join this dynamic charity you will need to have demonstrable skills in the creation and adaptation of compelling content. This may consist of text, visual, video, audio and graphic adaptations, but must comprise creativity and an attention to detail; which means you will be an experienced digital media operator.
In return, the successful candidate will receive 30 days annual leave entitlement per annum (pro rata) plus bank holidays, a cash health care plan, employer matched pension contribution (up to 5%), death in service benefit and long-term service rewards.
If you would like to speak to someone about the role please call Rachel Oakley, Digital Marketing & Design Officer.
Want to join us and be part of an exciting opportunity to enable us to continue to save lives and rebuild futures? Then please complete our application form via our website. Contact Laura Smith if you have any issues.
*We are unable to accept CV’s*
Closing date: 9am Monday 27 January
