About this exciting opportunity
The Digital team is responsible for using digital content and platforms to engage a wide range of audiences in Nesta’s work and you will be on hand to help the rest of the team with a wide range of activities. These will include managing the Digital team inbox, taking care of digital content requests from Nesta staff and assigning tasks to other members of the team as needed. You will also be expected to:
Monitor blog comments and social channels, responding to comments and queries where relevant
Work with the Senior Social Media Officer to draft content for our range of social channels
Proof blogs and feature copy for our website
Support the Research/Programme teams to create and shape content about their work
Help to produce digital content for Nesta’s live events and video content interviews
Assist the Publications Editor with the management of print and digital publications production
What we are looking for
An outstanding communicator with impeccable writing and proofreading abilities, you will have experience of working in a digital communications environment, where you will have worked under pressure and managed conflicting demands. You will also have experience maintaining website content via a content management system and of creating digital content using Photoshop and Illustrator. The ability to plan, manage and prioritise your workload and to work under your own initiative is essential, as is a positive, flexible can-do approach.
