Places on our Data Analytics programme for Autumn 2020 are available in our Marine sector. You could be based anywhere in the UK, that’s why we ask all our graduates to be flexible and willing to move during their programme.
What you’ll be doing
Babcock is an advanced user of information and decision support analytics. Through the provision of our information support and exploitation teams, we provide information and decision support at the point of need. This directly enables the most critical parts of our business in making decisions when they count.
Working within the Analytics stream you’ll have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects building your core IX/IM capabilities as well as developing broader skills along the way. Capability areas include: mathematical modelling and simulation, advanced statistical analysis, predictive analysis, web development, data visualisation, information related technology development and strategy development. Along the way, you’ll partner up with a lot of different teams within Babcock and learn from them as you go.

What you’ll need
We’re looking for a 2:1 (Hons) degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Operational Research or Computer Science. You’ll also need to satisfy the MOD’s security requirements (and may need to complete a medical assessment).
