We are looking for an exceptional and capable Agile Project Manager to join our global Cloud/Security programme., to support a short 8 Week/2 month spike.

You will be joining an international team, already working remotely and distributed across the world. You will be working predominately UK centric hours, ( 9-17:30 BST ), although some of the stakeholders are in the far east and the USA. Some of the Security Team are in the America’s time zone.

As a delivery Project Manager, you will be co-ordinating a set of cloud and security improvements, as well as managing the implementation of new operational capability. You must be an accomplished Agile’ project manager, able to assist in Scrum and Sprint Activities. You will be managing a diverse team of SMEs and Engineers, and ideally have experience in running and managing Cloud and Security projects

You will report to the Head of Delivery, and interface with client, team and off-shore team members.

Day to Day you will be driving sprint activity, updating boards, building out Tasks and removing blockers. You should experienced enough to be able to provide quality control, output review, and act as a intelligent owner’ to be able to ensure deliveries meet internal/initial goals. You will be expected to assist in presenting material to the client, taking actions ( ie doing ) around presentation, publishing etc.

You need to be excellent at creating documents, presentations and spreadsheets to a very high standard. This means working with Styles, Templates, and complex formula should be natural to you. You need to have an eye for detail, and confidence in the ability to check the quality of your work, and ensure its of a high standard,

You will be working in an engineering environment, and Microsoft-light’, so you should be very comfortable working with Wiki’s, Google Docs, Slack, Draw.io, Github, Mark-Down, LibreOffice. This is not a role for someone wedded to O365 or precious about their Mac.

Your written English should be impeccable. Your verbal English should be very clear and clean. You will be operating in a multinational team, and your inflection and clarity is important to ensure every one can understand and co-operate.

We are looking at a wide range of skills, and experience, but some that we are aiming to get support include

  1. Requirements validation, updating. Comfortable to creating User Stories from Epics and Features.

  2. Working and supporting Agile projects. Updating Board, Tasks, Create PBIs, aligning requirements to delivery. Updating progress.

  3. Report Generation, extracting data from systems to generate compelling, visually clean ( aligned to corporate colours, fonts, layouts ). reports. Weekly time and progress tracking. Monthly status reporting.

  4. Supporting Governance Forums.

  5. Updating Wiki’s with content, using Mark Down and similar.

  6. Self starting, motivated, able to manage your own time. Proactive and engaging.

This is a full time, 40 hours week role, starting immediately. It will last initially for 2 months. As project work, and part of the transformation, this role is outside ir35.
